Instructions and Ideas:

Step 1: Print out your shape on a piece of paper.  An apple shape is perfect for Back-to-School, but you can use any shape you want to make this craft.

Step 2: Cut out the center of your shape. This way light can shine through the center, just like a stained glass window.

Step 3: Flip the paper over so that the back is facing you.  Then tape over the hole you cut with the sticky side of the tape facing outwards toward the front of your shape.  Once you have finished taping over the hole, cut away any excess tape on the outside of the page.

Step 4: Flip the page back over so that the front of the shape and the sticky side of the tape are facing you. Then sprinkle Crayola Play Sand onto the tape.  Use your imagination to create whatever design you want! Add glitter and sparkles, make crazy shapes, and have fun with your designs!
